Abstract:
To provide a coaxial connector capable of improving high-frequency performance in a high-frequency band.SOLUTION: A coaxial connector 10 comprises a contact 1 and a housing 3. In addition, the coaxial connector 10 comprises a shell 5 and a short-circuit board 7. The contact 1 has a pressure-contact piece 11 connected with a central conductor Wc, and an elastic piece 12 connected with a partner side contact. The housing 3 has a circular plate part 32 and a rectangle part 33. In the circular plate part 32, the contact 1 and the short-circuit board 7 are arranged. The shell 5 can accommodate the housing 3. In addition, the shell 5 has a cable clamp 51. In a state where the cable clamp 51 closes the housing 3, the short-circuit board 7 is electrically connected with an external conductor Wb and contacted with an inner wall of a cylindrical part 52 of the shell 5. By arranging the short-circuit board 7 in the vicinity of the contact 1, a transmission line for a signal and a transmission line for ground can be extended substantially in parallel.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
