Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem in which: if an extension number is registered as a transfer destination, when a portable IP telephone terminal is moving out of a building, it cannot be called and transfer cannot be performed because it is absent in a home IP telephone network; and it takes too much time to make a phone call by analog communication means and to determine whether a called party does not respond because determination needs to detect a pattern of a tone signal from an exchange and HGW for a plurality of cycles.SOLUTION: A communication device determines by using IP communication means whether a transfer destination portable IP telephone terminal is in a home IP telephone network when transferring an incoming call, and if it determines the portable IP telephone terminal is in the home IP telephone network, uses an extension number of the portable IP telephone terminal to transfer the incoming call to the portable IP telephone terminal.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
