Abstract:
To provide a novel connector having a structure which can reduce insertion force in fitting and removal force in removing.SOLUTION: A connector 10 comprises a housing 20 and a terminal 40. The housing 20 has a housing part 34. The terminal 40 has an arm part 44 and a contact part 50. The arm part 44 movably supports the contact part 50. The contact part 50 is housed in the housing part 34, and the entirety of the contact part 50 is movable. The contact part 50 has a first contact 53, a second contact 55, a first support part 56, and a second support part 58. The first contact 53 is supported by the first support part 56. The second contact 55 is supported by the second support part 58. With the connector 10 fitted to a mating connector 60, a mating terminal 64 of the mating connector 60 is sandwiched between the first contact 53 and the second contact 55.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
