This container is provided with: a container main body provided with an accommodating portion which accommodates a cosmetic material, and a tubular neck portion; a drawing member fitted inside the tubular neck portion; and a lid member fitted removably outside the tubular neck portion. The lid member is provided with: a shaft portion which extends to the inside of the accommodating portion when fitted to the tubular neck portion; and a retaining portion which is provided at a distal end portion of the shaft portion and which is immersed in the cosmetic material in the accommodating portion. A drawing portion of the drawing member is provided with: a drawing piece through which the retaining portion is drawn when passing through a tubular portion of the drawing member; a fixing portion which fixes the position of the drawing piece; and a connecting portion which joins the drawing piece and the fixing portion. The tubular portion is provided with a through-hole extending between an outer peripheral surface and an inner peripheral surface of the tubular portion, and the connecting portion is located in the through-hole. The tubular portion is a rigid portion, and the drawing portion is a soft portion. The through-hole is provided with an outer peripheral open end facing the outer peripheral surface and an inner peripheral open end facing the inner peripheral surface, wherein the outer peripheral open end is larger than the inner peripheral open end.
