Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress influence of a state of an engine on an electrically driven vehicle upon changing over from a trolley mode to a non-trolley mode.SOLUTION: A control part 14 provided on a dump truck 1 controls AC power supplied by a power converter 11 to an electric motor 4 by causing a control gain calculation part 36 and an upper limit limiter part 39 to operate based on an engine speed feed-back value detected by an engine speed detector 22 such that an AC power output from the power converter 11 does not exceed the suppliable power of a generator 3 which outputs an AC power generated by receiving driving force from an engine 2. A changeover switch 16 is connected to a pantograph 5 and a connection point 20, and in a non-trolley mode, the changeover switch 16 intercepts DC power supplied from a stringing 6 and in a trolley mode, outputs DC power supplied from the stringing 6, from the connection point 20 to the power converter 11.
