Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress turning of a vehicle caused by a difference of a friction coefficient between road surfaces on right and left wheels and secure driving force.SOLUTION: A vehicle control device includes: a surrounding environment recognition section for detecting an obstacle in front of a vehicle and detecting a distance to the obstacle; a maximum driving force difference calculation section 113 for calculating a maximum driving force difference between right and left wheels on the basis of the detected distance to the obstacle; and a redistribution control section 114 for redistributing torque of each motor so that an actual driving force difference becomes the maximum driving force difference or lower when the actual driving force difference between the respective motors for driving the right and left wheels exceeds the maximum driving force difference.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
