Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wiping range expansion wiper device which executes expansion of a wiping range according to a view angle of a driver and a control method of a wiping range expansion wiper device.SOLUTION: A microcomputer 58 calculates magnification of a front passenger seat side wiper arm based on change of a view angle of a driver. The microcomputer 58 rotates an output shaft of a second motor 12 in normal rotation at a rotation angle according to the calculated magnification when an output shaft of a first motor 11 is rotated in normal rotation and a front passenger seat side wiper blade 36 is moved from a lower inversion position P2P to an upper inversion position P1P, then moves a fifth axis line L5 which is a fulcrum of the front passenger seat side wiper arm 35 in an angle direction on an upper side of the front passenger seat side on a windshield glass 1, then rotates the output shaft of the second motor 12 in reverse rotation at a rotation angle according to the magnification and disposes the fifth axis line L5 to an original position until the front passenger seat side wiper blade 36 reaches the upper inversion position P1P.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
