Abstract:
According to the present invention, a high-voltage side capacitor C3 is connected in parallel to a high-voltage side DC power supply 1. A flying capacitor unit 30 includes a plurality of switching elements S1 – S8 connected in series, and at least one flying capacitor C5a, C5b, wherein the high-voltage side DC power supply 1 is connected to both ends of the plurality of switching elements S1 – S8 connected in series, and a low-voltage side DC power supply 2 is connected to both ends of some of the plurality of switching elements S3 - S6. A reactor L1 is inserted into a path between both ends of the low-voltage side DC power supply 2 and both ends of some of the plurality of switching elements S3 – S6. Upon starting a DC/DC conversion device 3, a control unit 40 turns on a low-voltage side switching circuit, and then determines a timing for starting a switching operation of the flying capacitor 30 on the basis of a voltage of the flying capacitor C5a, C5b.
