Abstract:
To provide a cutting tool which can reduce a movable range of a movable blade.SOLUTION: A cutting tool 1 comprises a pair of cutting blades 60 and a tool main body 7. The pair of cutting blades 60 have stationary blade parts and movable blade parts. The tool main body 7 cuts a lengthy object 9 with the movable blade part of a movable blade 60A and the stationary blade part of a stationary blade 60B, by moving the movable blade 60A with respect to the stationary blade 60B, where one of the pair of cutting blades 60 is set as the stationary blade 60B and the other is set as the movable blade 60A. The stationary blade part has a stationary recessed part 63 that holds the lengthy object 9 when the cutting blade 60 is used as the stationary blade 60B. The movable blade part has a movable recessed part 62 that holds the lengthy object 9 when the cutting blade 60 is used as the movable blade 60A. At least either the stationary recessed part 63 or the movable recessed part 62 has a circular arc-shape in which a depth thereof is less than a radius of the lengthy object 9.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7
