Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an oxygen reducing apparatus and a refrigerator working in stability.SOLUTION: An oxygen reducing apparatus comprises: a membrane electrode conjugate having an anode, a cathode and an electrolyte membrane held by the anode and the cathode; an oxygen reducing element composed of an anodal current collector plate connected with the anode and a cathodal current collector plate connected with the cathode; a water adsorption and supply unit; and voltage impression means applying voltage to the oxygen reducing element. The anodal current collector plate has an open end where the anode is exposed to. At least the open end and the water adsorption and supply unit are connected. The water adsorption and supply unit has an adsorbent adsorbing and desorbing water vapor.
