Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dehumidifying device that can improve efficiency in dehumidifying a paper ejection part and an ejected paper conveyance path with a simple configuration and control.SOLUTION: There is provided a dehumidifying device in an image forming apparatus comprising: an ejected paper conveyance path 20 that conveys a recording medium ejected from a fixing device 15; an air intake and exhaust duct 30 that exhausts exhaust heat from the fixing device to the outside of the apparatus and introduces outside air to the inside of the apparatus; and a fan 35 that takes in and exhausts air between the air intake and exhaust duct and the outside of the apparatus, wherein the inside of the air intake and exhaust duct is partitioned into a dehumidifying path 40 communicating the outside of the apparatus and ejected paper conveyance path and an exhaust path 60 communicating the outside of the apparatus and a heat exhaust path from the fixing device, and a dehumidifying agent 80 is arranged in the dehumidifying path.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
