Abstract:
A sealing structure (30, 40) includes an entrance seal (90, 190) disposed at an edge of an opening (31a) formed in a housing (31, 41). A pair of left and right edge seals (80) is provided in a circumferential direction of the powder roller (36, 44) to partially overlap with outer circumferential surfaces of both ends of the entrance seal (90, 190), respectively. Multiple toner damming sections (92 (93-95)) extend from both ends of the entrance seal (90) along the pair of left and right edge seals (80), respectively. A pair of inner edges (9bb, 94b, 95b) of the respective toner damming sections (92 (93-95)) is each sandwiched between a corresponding one of the pair of left and right edge seals (80) and the powder roller (36, 44) while substantially symmetrically inclining from the rotation direction of the powder roller (36,44).
