PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device that reduces a difference as to how color appears to individuals.SOLUTION: A display device includes: light emitting means having light sources in a plurality of colors, where the light source in at least one of the plurality of colors comprises a plurality of light-emitting elements in which light emission intensities can be individually controlled and spectra are different from each other; a display panel that modulates light from the light emitting means on the basis of image data; acquisition means for acquiring information on spectral sensitivity characteristics of a user; and control means for controlling the light emission intensities of the plurality of individual light-emitting elements on the basis of the information acquired by the acquisition means.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
