Title:
The double chain RNA oligonucleotide which checks tyrosinase expression
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP5951564
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:
Composition comprises at least one double stranded RNA oligonucleotide (I) associated with a cationic particle of =1 mu m in size and 10-80 mV of zeta potential. Composition comprises at least one double stranded RNA oligonucleotide (I) (SEQ ID No. 1-48 comprising one of 48 fully defined 19-25 amino acid sequences given in the specification) associated with a cationic particle of =1 mu m in size and 10-80 mV of zeta potential. An independent claim is included for cosmetic process to bleach, clear up the color and/or uniform the color of a browned skin comprising topical application of (I). ACTIVITY : Dermatological. MECHANISM OF ACTION : Tyrosinase expression inhibitor. The ability of (I) on the degradation of tyrosinase messenger RNA was tested. The results showed that the double stranded RNA oligonucleotide of SEQ ID No. 43 comprising a fully defined 25 amino acid sequences given in the specification, exhibited 99.1% inhibition of tyrosinase.
