Abstract:
To provide an electric vane pump system capable of reducing force applied at the time of starting a vane pump, miniaturizing a motor for driving the vane pump, and reducing the cost thereof.SOLUTION: An electric vane pump system (pump system 100) according to the present invention has a configuration comprising a vane pump 110 that is used as a hydraulic source for hydraulic oil, a motor 130 for driving the vane pump, and a control unit 140 for controlling rotation speed of the motor. When starting the vane pump 110, the control unit 140 starts rotation of a rotor 114 of the vane pump 110 at a rotation speed at which no hydraulic pressure of the hydraulic oil is generated, and after a driving torque of the vane pump 110 passes the peak and is reduced to a steady driving torque, increases the rotation speed of the rotor 114 of the vane pump 110 to a rotation speed at which the hydraulic pressure of the hydraulic oil is generated.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
