Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic device with a touch detection apparatus, configured to prevent operation error due to an unintended touch error of a user.SOLUTION: An electronic device includes: a touch detection section 112 for detecting a point touched; and a CPU 102 which validates or invalidates the detected points, to determine a user touch operation, on the basis of the valid points out of the detected points. When the touch detection section 112 detects a second point while a first point is detected, the CPU 102 determines whether a distance between the first and second points is equal to or larger than a predetermined value, and invalidates the first or second point when the distance between the first and second points is equal to or larger than the predetermined value. User touch operation can be determined by use of valid touch points, without considering a touch error point, thereby preventing an operation error due to a touch error.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
