PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of joining two components using additive manufacturing.SOLUTION: The method includes: forming a first component (12) made of a first material; forming an interlocking transition zone (10) from the first material and a second material; and forming a second component (14) made of the second material.
