Abstract:
To curb a reduction in frequency of updating a deviation learning value related to a deviation of a detected air-fuel ratio.SOLUTION: In operating an engine, an engine device updates a deviation learning value related to a deviation of a detected air-fuel ratio using a processed air-fuel ratio when predetermined conditions including the following two conditions are met: a condition that the processed air-fuel ratio, obtained through a smoothing process where a change in an air-fuel ratio detected with an exhaust sensor is smoothed, is within a first predetermined range including a reference value; and a condition that a processed air-fuel ratio change rate, a variation of the processed air-fuel ratio per unit time, is within a second predetermined range including a value of zero. Followability of the processed air-fuel ratio with respect to the detected air-fuel ratio is higher in the smoothing process that the detected air-fuel ratio undergoes while second control is in execution than in the smoothing process while first control is in execution.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7
