Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel injection device of an engine, which irrespective of the operation state of the engine, can expedite atomization of fuel to improve combustion performance in each cylinder.SOLUTION: A fuel injection device of an engine comprises a fuel tank 24 with fuel stored therein, a feed pump 25 pressure-feeding the fuel of the fuel tank 24, first fuel injection valves 20 that are provided in intake passages 18 connected to intake ports 14 of the engine 10, respectively, and are supplied with the fuel from the fuel pump 25, and second fuel injection valves 21 that are provided on the upstream sides of the first fuel injection valves 20 in the intake passages 18, respectively, and have smaller maximum fuel injection amounts injectable per unit time than those of the first fuel injection valves 20.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
