Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To restrict reduction in charging efficiency of gas in a cylinder when an exhaust valve is opened at a later half of an intake stroke.SOLUTION: When it is judged that an operating region corresponds to an operating region of using the two-stage cams in which an exhaust valve is opened at an intake stroke and an exhaust stroke [YES at S100], a control device executes a control processing comprising a step for selecting two-stage cams [S102]; a step for selecting an advanced cam [S104]; when it is judged that the operating region does not correspond to the operating region of using the two-stage cams [NO at S100], the control device executes a control processing comprising a step for normally selecting an exhaust cam [S106]; and a step for normally selecting an intake cam [S108].SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 8
