Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent damage due to freezing of rainwater or the like, in an outdoor machine of an air conditioner.SOLUTION: An outdoor machine of an air conditioner includes a propeller fan and a bell mouth arranged around the propeller fan. The bell mouth has a step part (402) stepwisely enlarging toward a blowout direction of the propeller fan. Each part of an inner surface of the step part (402) has an inclination angle (angle of θ or more) at which adhering water droplets flow down to a horizontal surface. More specifically, the step part (402) includes a plurality of substantially annular ring-shaped annular ring parts (404) having a blowout port opened upward and having the inclination angle (θ), and a plurality of cylindrical parts (406) connected to the annular ring parts (404).SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
