Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a molding method capable of molding an aircraft component and an automobile component using a fiber-reinforced resin intermediate material excellent in size enlargement properties and treatability and excellent in air exhaustion properties.SOLUTION: Provided is a molding method where a fiber-reinforced resin intermediate material in which a resin is fused to the outer face is heated and pressurized by a molding die heated to a prescribed temperature to mold a fiber-reinforced resin molded article in which the fiber-reinforced resin intermediate material is impregnated with the resin, in which the fiber-reinforced resin intermediate material including gaps between the reinforcing fibers and made bulk is heated and pressurized in the molding die, the reinforcing fibers and the fused resin are rapidly heated, when the resin is softened, at first, the pressurization force to the fiber-reinforced resin intermediate material is removed, the same is held, subsequently, when the resin is made into a state of showing fluidity, the fiber-reinforced resin intermediate material is re-pressurized, the same is held under prescribed pressurization force, and the impregnation of the resin to the fiber-reinforced resin intermediate material is performed.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
