Abstract:
To provide a very high noise generation reduction effect at the time when a friction transmission belt is exposed to water, and obtain excellent durability.SOLUTION: A friction transmission belt B has a rubber layer 11 that constitutes a pulley contact portion on the inner peripheral side of a belt. The rubber layer 11 is formed of a rubber composition containing a crosslinked rubber component, a layered silicate, and aramid powder. Also, the content of the layered silicate in the rubber composition is 3 to 100 parts by mass with respect to 100 parts by mass of the rubber component, and the content of the aramid powder in the rubber composition is 5 to 30 parts by mass with respect to 100 parts by mass of the rubber component.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
