Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a front pillar largely ensuring a visual field of a driver.SOLUTION: A front pillar 1 is made from a transparent base material in order to secure a visual field. When an organic substance such as a resin is used, a core material 14 is provided in the transparent base material by using a metal bar, a metal wire or a resin wire material because of having a risk of causing sudden deterioration and breakage due to the characteristics, a metal cap is mounted on both sides through cushioning materials 12 and 13 such as rubber, and the transparent base material is tensioned by fixed by a screw 15 in the outside of the metal cap to have a strength and unitized. The transparent base material is fixed to a body by the screw through a body connection plate 22, and thereby can be partially attached/detached and exchanged.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
