Abstract:
To provide a gas sensor in which it is difficult for a separator to vibrate in a direction that intersects with an axial line relative to an outer cylinder.SOLUTION: A gas sensor 1 includes a sensor element 5, a main metal fitting 3, an outer cylinder 11, terminal fittings 41 to 44, a separator 13, lead wires 31 to 34, and a rubber cap 15. The separator 13 is separate from a cylindrical top end side member 67, which is located the nearest to the separator 13 on the top end side and through which the sensor element 5 is inserted. The rubber cap 15 has a cylindrical separator holding unit 15d for holding the separator 13 in a manner of surrounding at least an outer periphery surface 13f of a back end side site 13d of the separator 13.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
