Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a video projection device which can obtain an excellent film formation with a common projection optical system regardless of a projection distance, and a head-up display device having the video projection device.SOLUTION: The present invention includes: an LD 11 for emitting an optical beam; a collimator 12 for forming the emitted optical beam to be parallel light; adjusting units 14, 14A, and 17 for adjusting convergence and divergence of the light beam so that the film formation point of the formed light beam is located on a screen 30; scanning units 14, 14A, and 14B for deflection-scanning the light beam whose convergence and divergence have been adjusted; and a projection optical system 21 on a path from the scanning units 14, 14A, and 14B to the screen 30, the system 21 having at least one optical element and projecting the deflection-scanned light beam onto the screen 30. The projection optical system 21 is located at such a position that a front-side main surface is separate from the scanning units 14, 14A, and 14B by a focal distance of the projection optical system 21.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
