Abstract:
To provide a canal-type headphone which can stably introduce external sound into a sound guiding tube while adjusting the sound quality in a low range.SOLUTION: In a canal-type headphone worn in a user's external auditory canal, a first sound emitting unit 10 comprises: a driver unit 12 which generates a sound wave based on an electrical signal; a housing 11 which houses the driver unit; a sound guiding tube 13 which is protrudingly provided on the housing and guides the sound wave from the driver unit to the external auditory canal; and an earpiece 14 which is fitted to the sound guiding tube and can be deformed so as to fit the shape of the external auditory canal. The housing has: a first chamber R1 in which the driver unit is housed; a second chamber R2 which is physically separated, in the housing, from the first chamber; and an introduction hole 11h which brings the second chamber into communication with the outside of the housing and introduces the external sound outside the housing into the second chamber. The sound guiding tube communicates with each of the first chamber and the second chamber.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
