Abstract:
Provided is a complex-heating method that has a step in which a complex containing different first and second substances in contact with each other is heated via exposure to electromagnetic radiation of a specific frequency. This method makes it possible to heat a complex efficiently even if said complex does not absorb the specific used frequency of electromagnetic radiation well. This method also makes it possible to heat a complex from the contact interface thereof. A complex containing different first and second substances in contact with each other is heated via exposure to electromagnetic radiation of a specific frequency. The first and second substances comprise a combination of materials that exhibit static polarization at the contact interface between said substances. Said contact interface forms an angle of 0-45° with the oscillation direction of the electric field produced by the electromagnetic radiation, and said oscillation direction is not parallel to the direction of static polarization; also, the complex is exposed to the electromagnetic radiation while in or being conveyed through a region that contains the position at which the intensity of the oscillating electric field produced by the electromagnetic radiation is at a maximum.
