Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology capable of avoiding a situation where any trouble occurs unexpectedly and a user gets confused regarding an operation non-identified function included in an application after switching.SOLUTION: An image forming apparatus acquires verification information for each function regarding an application after switching (step S52). The verification information for each function indicates for each function whether each of functions provided in the application after the switching has been operation-verified by an application switching user. After the switching of the application, the image forming apparatus allows any other user than the switching user to use the operation verified function among a plurality of functions which may be implemented in the application after the switching (step S56) but does not allow the user to use a non-verified function that is any other function than the operation verified function (steps S54 and S55).
