To solve the problem in which: in attachment of a removable unit removable to an apparatus body involving connector connection, connectors may not be fitted to each other, and the fitting is demanded to be performed smoothly.SOLUTION: An image forming apparatus 1000 has a removable fixing device 100, and has: a floating unit 202 that holds a body-side connector 211 and is provided movably with respect to a main body of the image forming apparatus 1000; a fixing device-side connector 113 that is provided on a fixing device 100; and a fixing connector guide part 114 that is provided on the periphery of the fixing device-side connector. When the fixing connector guide part 114 is brought into contact with the floating unit 202, the floating unit 202 is positioned with respect to the fixing connector guide part 114 within a range in which the connectors can be fitted to each other, and when the fixing device-side connector 113 and the body-side connector 211 are fitted to each other, the body-side connector 211 is positioned with respect to the fixing device-side connector 113.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 17
