Abstract:
To provide an image formation device for performing radio communication which secures rigidity of the device and can secure good communication property.SOLUTION: An image formation device has an image formation part for forming an image on a recording material, a first metal side plate 21 and a second metal side plate which are oppositely provided so as to sandwich the image formation part, an antenna 30a for communicating with an external device, and a housing provided with a discharge port 80 for discharging a recording material where an image is formed by the image formation part, wherein the housing includes a top cover 11 provided above the first metal side plate 21 in a vertical direction; in a region on the downstream side of the antenna 30a in a discharge direction of discharging the recording material from the discharge port, an upper end of the first metal side plate 21 is positioned below the antenna 30a in the vertical direction; and the region on the downstream side is provided with a resin-made support part 11c which supports the top cover 11 and is connected to the first metal side plate.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7
