To suppress that an operation screen is eliminated against intent of a user by non-operation time-out processing in a video output device which outputs the operation screen on which an operation instruction to the device is input with regard to any controller operations of a key operation and a three-dimensional operation.
In the video output device provided with an output portion which outputs the operation screen which operates interlocked with any operations of the key operation and the three-dimensional operation, and in which the operation instruction is input by an operation of a controller which operates the operation screen, it is provided with a control portion which automatically stops output of the operation screen when a continuation period of the non-operation state of the controller after the operation of the controller for operating the operation screen is performed last reaches a predetermined threshold at the state that the operation screen is output, and when the operation of the controller performed last is the three-dimensional operation, the threshold is set to a longer value than when the operation of the controller performed last is the key operation.
