Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging apparatus capable of capturing an excellent color video image even in the case where visible light and infrared light for night-vision imaging are mixed.SOLUTION: An imaging section 3 includes a color filter 32 in which R, G and B filter elements are arrayed within a plane. In the state where infrared light of three frequencies corresponding to R, G and B is projected, respectively, the imaging section 3 images a subject and generates first to third frames. A combination part within a signal processing section 52 generates a synthetic video signal for which pixel data in three primary colors based on pixel data of R within the first frame, pixel data of G within the second frame and pixel data of B within the third frame are combined into one frame by arranging these pixel data in the same array as an array of the filter elements in the color filter 32. A demosaic processing section 54 generates frames in three primary colors by applying demosaic processing to the frame of the synthetic video signal.
