Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information providing device for a vehicle which can suppress an increase in cost of an on-vehicle device.SOLUTION: An information providing device for a vehicle includes: an on-vehicle device 102 having first control means 202 for operating a first display part 204 and auditory information providing means 205; and an external device 103 having second control means 252 for outputting external information of the vehicle to the first control means 202. The first control means 202 outputs a control signal (a start signal) C3 to the second control means 252 in response to various states of the vehicle. The second control means 252 outputs the external information (sound information) of the vehicle corresponding to the control signal C3 to the first control means 202 when receiving the control signal C3. The first control means 202 operates the auditory information providing means 205 so that the external information (an opening sound) of the vehicle corresponding to the control signal C3 is output from blowing means B3 included in the auditory information providing means 205 as a blowing sound.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
