Abstract:
To provide an inkjet printer that has a simpler structure and can use different types of recording media.SOLUTION: A printer 10 includes a platen 15 formed so that a first recording medium 5A wound in a roll shape and a second recording medium 5B formed in a sheet shape can be placed, and a guide table 45 that is detachably provided on a base member 40 and guides the movement of the second recording medium 5B. The platen 15 has a first platen 15A on which the first recording medium 5A and the second recording medium 5B are placed, and a second platen 15B which is arranged in front of the first platen 15A and whose upper surface tilts diagonally downward from the rear to the front to guide the movement of the first recording medium 5A. A guide table 45 includes a placing part 45A that is located below the first platen 15A and above a part of the second platen 15B and has a flat upper surface on which the second recording medium 5B is placed.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 16
