Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique for forming a planar active material layer having a uniform thickness and a sharp edge on a collector.SOLUTION: The manufacturing method of an electrode for lithium ion secondary battery including an active material layer 4 of a predetermined shape on a collector 2 includes a step for filling, at least, the recess of a resin practical plate 8 of concave female die corresponding to the predetermined shape with a first active material layer formation slurry and then drying the slurry, a step for filling a second active material layer formation slurry 10 on top of the first active material layer, a step for bringing a collector 2 into contact with the second active material layer formation slurry, a step for drying the second active material layer formation slurry, and a step for die-cutting the resin practical plate 8 from the collector 2, and transferring the laminate of a first active material layer 5 and a second active material layer 4 onto the collector 2, in this order.
