Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multifunctional biodegradable composite material with which decomposition of a biodegradable polymer compound is accelerated and a shape decay rate is made to be arbitrarily variable, and to provide a production method thereof.SOLUTION: The problem is solved by using a multifunctional biodegradable composite material 1 which contains a biodegradable polymer compound 11 and one or two or more powders 12 containing calcium oxide, calcium hydroxide, and calcium carbonate, wherein at least one of the powders 12 contains calcium oxide of 90 mass% or more. In addition, a production method thereof includes: a step to prepare the biodegradable polymer compound 11; a step to prepare the powder containing calcium oxide of 90 mass% or more by calcining at least one powder of one or two or more powders 12 containing the calcium oxide, calcium hydroxide, and calcium carbonate; and a step to knead the polymer compound 11 and one or two or more powders 12.
