Title:
OPTICAL SYSTEM FOR OPTICAL SCANNING
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3205264
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To independently, accurately and easily adjust the mounting state of an optical system by providing the 3rd optical system for guiding deflected luminous flux to a photodetector separately from the 2nd optical system condensing the deflected luminous flux on a surface to be scanned.
SOLUTION: The deflected luminous flux is made incident on a light deflector 17 through the 3rd optical system 15 before optical scanning with a light spot condensed on the surface to be scanned by the 2nd optical system 13. When the deflector 17 receives the deflected luminous flux, it issues outputs to generate a synchronizing signal for starting the optical scanning. the optical scanning is started from an optical scanning start position A on the surface to be scanning 14 according to the signal. In order to keep the position A fixed, the 3rd optical system 15 forms the deflected luminous flux going toward the position A into the light spot having a small spot diameter on the light receiving surface of the photodetector 17. Therefore, the light receiving surface of the photodetector 17 is positioned near the image forming position of the deflected luminous flux by the 3rd optical system 15.
