Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP6161812
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:
The invention relates to a method for measuring the torque which is applied to the petals of an electric bike by a rider, in which method the force acting on the chain of the electric bike is ascertained by measuring the elastic deformation or deflection of the bottom bracket fastening, and the applied torque is determined from this. In order to provide a method of the kind described at the outset, which method can be realized in a simple manner using particularly simple components, the deformation or deflection of an elastic sleeve as the bottom bracket fastening is measured.
