To provide a mineral collection system enabling a user to easily and ecologically confirm, for each caisson, what and how much resources can be collected from a sea bottom, and where they are collected from on the sea bottom.
A caisson 100 in which a bioleaching liquid BL is contained is installed on a sea bottom BS. An ion sensor 110 and CCD cameras 120 mounted on the caisson 100 detect the state of collection of mineral by the bioleaching liquid BL. An off-shore buoy 200 wired to the ion sensor 110 and the CCD cameras 120 of the caisson 100 floats on a sea level SS. A radio transmitter 210 mounted on the off-shore buoy 200 wirelessly transmits the information on the state detected by the ion sensor 110 and the CCD cameras 120. A radio receiver 310 wirelessly receives the information on the detected state wirelessly transmitted thereto. A database server 320 stores, for each caisson 100, the information on the detected state wirelessly received by the radio receiver.
