Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a non-aqueous electrolyte for enhancing high-temperature storage characteristics in a non-aqueous electrolyte secondary battery, and a non-aqueous electrolyte secondary battery containing the non-aqueous electrolyte.SOLUTION: Non-aqueous electrolyte contained in a non-aqueous electrolyte secondary battery including a cathode having a cathode activating material capable of adsorbing/discharging metal ions and an anode having an anode activating material capable of adsorbing/discharging metal ions is characterized in that the non-aqueous electrolyte contains diisocyanate compound and a halogenated isocyanate compound represented by the following formula (1) and the content of the halogenated isocyanate compound is 0.000001 mass% or more and 0.06 mass% or less in the total mass of the non-aqueous electrolyte (Yrepresents a chain hydrocarbon group having a carbon number of 1 to 20).
