Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a spatial multiplexing optical transmission system in which influence of a cross talk between space transmission paths is reduced.SOLUTION: A receiver 2a is constructed by including an optical DEMUX 21a, a phase synchronization light source 22, an O/E 23, and a DSP 29. The optical DEMUX 21a fetches a plurality of signal light received from a spatial multiplex optical fiber as an individual signal light. The phase synchronization light source 22 provides a local emission light of a frequency similar to the signal light for each of the plurality of signal light fetched by the optical DEMUX 21a. The O/E 23 in each of the plurality of signal light converts the light signal of the signal light and the light signal of the local emission light into an electric signal. The DSP 29 executes a waveform equalization processing to the electric signal corrected by a phase rotational component of a plurality of frequency interval and the electric signal which is not corrected to the electric signal from each O/E 23, and adds each electric signal of an execution result.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
