Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to adjust, with a simple configuration, inclination of the paper surface of paper sheet when the paper sheet is aligned so that each paper surface comes into contact with each other.SOLUTION: A paper sheet processing device (banknote processing device 1) includes a storage unit (banknote storage cassette 21) configured to internally store paper sheet (banknote 100) in a state where paper sheet is aligned so that each paper surface comes into contact with each other. The storage unit includes a passage port 211 configured such that paper sheet passes through, and a support unit 22 that includes a support surface in contact with the paper surface of the paper sheet separated from the passage port the most so that the paper sheet is aligned in a direction leaving from a position close to the passage port and that is configured so as to move in the alignment direction of the paper sheet. The support unit is configured to adjust inclination of a paper surface of aligned paper sheet by the movement of the support surface.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
