Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a conveyance device which can almost keep bills in a good conveyance condition and improve performance even if the adjustment amount of the bill inclination exceeds controllable amount.
CONSTITUTION: A driving belt 2a is driven by a speed variable motor 7a through a driving roller 6a, while a driving belt 2b is driven by a speed fixed motor 7b through a driving roller 6b. A bill P is carried with both its ends caught in the driving belts 2a, 2b and driven belts 1a, 1b. Sensors 3, 4 are mounted in parallel to each other at right angles to the conveyance direction of the bill P to detect the carried bill P. A control part 4 measures the inclination of the bill P base on the output signals of the sensors 3, 4 to judge whether a calculated amount to be controlled is within the controllable range or not. When it is within the controllable range, the rotational speed of the motor 7a is controlled according to the calculated amount to be controlled, and when it exceeds the controllable range, the rotational speed of the motor 7a is controlled according to the controllable amount.
