Abstract:
To provide a pedal drive mechanism capable of operating a brake pedal and an accelerator pedal with a simple structure.SOLUTION: A pedal drive mechanism comprises: a cylinder that reciprocates a cylinder rod between a first position and a second position by a driving force; a brake stepping portion having a depressing state of depressing a brake pedal and a non-depressing state of not depressing the brake pedal; an accelerator stepping portion having a depressing state of depressing an accelerator pedal and a non-depressing state of not depressing the accelerator pedal; and a connecting portion which connects the cylinder rod to the brake stepping portion and the accelerator stepping portion, and in the case of the cylinder rod positioned in between a neutral position and the first position, brings the brake stepping portion into the stepping state, and the accelerator stepping portion into the non-depressing state, or in the case of the cylinder rod positioned in between the neutral position and the second position, brings the brake stepping portion into the non-stepping state and the accelerator stepping portion into the stepping state, or in the case of the cylinder rod positioned at the neutral position, brings the brake stepping portion and the accelerator stepping portion into the non-depressed state.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
