Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable terminal device and the like that can precisely specify an image processing apparatus when specifying the image processing apparatus that a user intends to use by detecting radio wave strength from image processing apparatuses by the portable terminal device.SOLUTION: When a portable terminal device 50 moves accompanied with movement of a user possessing the terminal device, it detects the strength of radio waves output from image processing apparatuses 10a and 10b. The portable terminal device calculates a difference in radio wave strengths between the image processing apparatus having the largest radio wave strength and the other image processing apparatuses, about a plurality of image processing apparatuses in which detected radio wave strength is equal to or more than a preset first value, and specifies an image processing apparatus having the largest radio wave strength at timing when any of the differences exceeds a preset second value as an image processing apparatus that performs an accepted operation instruction. The portable terminal device instructs the specified image processing device to perform operation in an operation mode set by the user.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7
