Abstract:
The present invention relates to a pet treadmill for automatically and safely training a pet using a treadmill for the first time or having low adaptability. The pet treadmill of the present invention comprises: a pedestal; a treadwheel having a driving rail formed on the outer circumference thereof, and rotatably installed on the upper portion of the pedestal; a driving rail shield for shielding a space between the driving rail of the treadwheel and the pedestal; a driving member for providing a power mode for transmitting a driving force to the driving rail to rotate the treadwheel in the forward or reverse direction, and a non-power mode for rotating the treadwheel rotated by the power mode in the reverse direction thereof by means of a pet's own weight; and a sensor for sensing elevation of a predetermined height of the pet in the rear in a forward power mode of the treadwheel to output a stop signal to the driving member. Therefore, the pet treadmill of the present invention has a very useful effect of allowing the pet using a treadmill for the first time or having low adaptability to easily adapt to walking or running training, by repeating a step of moving the pet by a predetermined angle in the power mode and then allowing the pet to return to an original position by means of its own weight in the non-power mode.
