Abstract:
To provide an article storage facility which can be applied to an unmanned travel vehicle movement type article storage shelf, in which article storage part designation means is not needed to be provided for each article storage part, which dispenses with the article storage part designation means, wiring and the like for the unmanned travel vehicle movement type article storage shelf, and which includes article storage part designation means that can be commonly applied to the unmanned travel vehicle movement type article storage shelf located in front of a worker in a work station.SOLUTION: An article storage facility comprises: an article storage shelf 2 in which a plurality of article storage parts 2a are arrayed; a control unit 4 which outputs a designation signal which is related to the plurality of article storage parts 2a and sequentially designates one article storage part 2a being the target of taking-out or storage of an article according to physical distribution information; light projection type designation means 5 which designates the article storage part 2a from which the article is taken out output from the control unit 4; and trigger means 11 which outputs to the control unit 4 a trigger signal for outputting an instruction signal such that the control unit 4 performs spot light irradiation to the light projection type designation means 5 every time taking-out or storage of the article is started.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
