Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a powder supply device that can reliably close a discharge port of a powder container without inclining a plug member with respect to the discharge port, and an image forming apparatus.SOLUTION: The powder supply device is provided with a slider 92c that can move in normal and reverse directions, and a hook 92a that is formed to grip or release the grip of a projection part 34Y1 of a cap 34Y in conjunction with the movement of the slider 92c. The slider 92c is provided with a pushing member 92g2 that pushes the cap 34Y toward a toner discharge port W to close the toner discharge port. When the cap 34Y is moved by the slider 92c in a normal direction with respect to the toner discharge port W in an inclined state, in a process during which the toner discharge port W is closed by the cap 34Y, a pushing surface of the pushing member 92g2 is displaced on the slider 92c and brought into surface contact with the cap 34Y while facing the toner discharge port W.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 15
