Abstract:
To provide a power conversion device with an excellent protection function.SOLUTION: A power conversion device 13 includes a traction detection circuit 223 and a power supply control circuit 24. The power control circuit cuts off the supply of the operating power supply to an inverter ECU 22 and a cooler 23 when the traction of the vehicle is not detected by the traction detection circuit, and permits the supply of the operating power supply when the traction is detected. The control circuit 221 of the inverter ECU, which is activated by supplying operating power when the vehicle is towed, controls the drive of the inverter so that the regenerative power generated by the rotation of a motor generator 12 is consumed between the motor generator and an inverter 21, and also controls the drive of the cooler so that the target equipment is cooled.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
